September Sessions

How is September here already? In all honesty where has the year gone? It will be the countdown to Christmas before we know it. Oh yes I said the C word already. Below are a list of events happening in September to get you through the end of the summer as we all know “winter is coming”.
Yoga Workshop – with Cat Meffan at 42 Acres in Shoreditch. Tickets can be found on Eventbrite for £50. Expect a beautiful flow from the sassy yogi as well as meditation, sound healing and a wonderful goodie bag. Hurry as it’s tomorrow Sunday 3rd.
Mental Wealth Festival – 12-14th in various locations like the National Gallery and Houses of Parliament. The festival includes seminars, debates and mindfulness. So no need for Lycra at this one. Come and listen to a wide mix of speakers talk about real issues.
Sweaty Betty Live – it’s on Saturday 16th September but there’s not many tickets left! I went to their event last year and it was great and this year is meant to be bigger and better. With classes from studios like Another Space, Frame and 1 Rebel to name a few. Then talks with Hemsley & Hemsley, Tamara Hill-Norton and Tanya Burr it would be a shame to miss out on this wellbeing event. Once you’re there you can also shop the Sweaty Betty collection and eat of course. Tickets are between £10-25 depending if you are doing a class or not.
London Duathlon – Sunday 17th in Richmond Park. A Duathlon is a run-bike-run event. There are different distances to choose from and even an Ultra Duathlon. For the non cyclists they also have Run10 a 10km race at the same time.
Berlin Marathon – Sunday 24th, although there aren’t any places left to enter the 2017 Berlin Marathon that doesn’t stop you from becoming the best cheer squad a friend could ask for. So yes perhaps a bit more extravagant and maybe you have friends racing in other events this month? Good luck however to all of those who are racing!
Lorna Jane Active Nation Day – Also on Sunday 24th and it’s free, yay! The event is at Ministry does Fitness and we all know how I feel about Disco Ball activities. There’s only a few classes left as expected with a free event but it sounds like there will be lots to do on the day.
Enjoy September people! x
